Aviation Operations Logistics Analyst, Shell

Within his first 6 months at Shell, Leon achieved over $600,000 worth of savings. To date, he has identified over $16 million in savings. In his role as an Aviation Operations Logistics Analyst, Leon is responsible for coordinating all material and personnel movement to and from oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Leon has the difficult task of making sure that all movement to and from the rig is executed safely and cost-effectively.

 

While completing his MBA at the University of Houston Downtown, Leon flew back and forth to Dallas, TX every week for a six-month period while interning for Southwest Airlines. After graduating he accepted a full-time position at Shell where he currently works on offshore logistics projects. Leon is an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the work place and is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. as well as a graduate of an HBCU.
