Sara Cavanaugh

Distribution Planner, J. Crew

Sara Cavanaugh always knew she wanted to work in the fashion industry. After discovering her interest in supply chain while at the University of Maryland College Park, she graduated with a degree in Supply Chain Management with the goal of applying her degree in a retail role. At J.Crew's corporate offices in Manhattan, she has the best of both worlds: working in fashion and utilizing her analytical skills. As a distribution planner, Sara tracks, monitors and forecasts merchandise delivery. Recently, she built an Outbound Forecasting tool that pulls from 15+ separate reports and aggregates the information to better predict unit outbound levels by week through the full year.
