How does Wasco get found by more mechanical engineers?

Who they are.

Wasco Sales and Marketing manufactures pressure and vacuum switches, pressure transducers, and transmitters for the Fire Suppression, Medical, Semiconductor, and Defense markets. Family-owned and operated since 1963, California-based Wasco has 20 employees and an international rep network.

What they wanted.

Company President Dave Way wanted to get found by more mechanical engineers during the design stage – engineers who would then recommend Wasco to purchasing agents. This called for positioning his company to be front and center where – and when – those engineers would be doing their sourcing.

How they won.

Wasco boosted its position in key switches and sensors categories on ThomasNet.com – precisely where they believed their target engineers would go when sourcing and designing a system. Thanks to its powerful 24/7 online presence, Wasco now attributes 50 – 60% of its new business to their targeted ThomasNet.com strategy.

We could not have grown to the size we are today without ThomasNet. They are constantly looking at how they can make the sourcing process easier, and as a result, make it faster and more efficient for companies like me to get found.
